Shawana Quirk
About Shawana Quirk:
Shawana Quirk is a freelance flutist and teacher. She received a BM in music therapy from Colorado State University in 1993. She has studied flute with Sylvia Greenfield, Dr. Chris Potter, Dr. Nicole Riner, and Dr. Elizabet McNutt and has played in masterclasses with Jimmy Walker and Carol Wincenc and worked with composer David Amram.
Shawana plays principal flute in the Castle Rock Orchestra and is a member of the National Flute Association, and the Colorado Flute Association. She teaches privately in the Parker area.
